Build and iterate

June 26, 2023

The next few months will be incredibly exciting as we begin to push through key improvements on our own internal workflows, deliver on the first pass of multi-market functionality, and get real feedback from real beta clients who can give us the first glimpse to where we're headed and what we need to do next to provide a comprehensive software solution.

Continuing on last week's note, Q3 is going to be one of additional improvements to try and make ourselves more efficient and further distance ourselves from the manual operations of the transaction process. Beyond just investor Q&A and empowering investors to ask questions to underwriters and borrowers directly, there will also be incremental releases to bring more of the interactions on-platform. Over the next two weeks, we'll be doing some internal interviews to see just what parts of the transaction process can be automated or enhanced, whether it's the first signing of the NDA, the offering of preliminary terms, or the back and forth negotiation process across various different teams. Some enhancements can be quick, some can leverage offshoots of what we're already building (e.g. subfolders within the data room), and others will have to be longer term initiatives.

The first pass of multi-market functionality will be more than enough to start gauging reactions from the first set of prospective clients. Over the next few months, we’ll be gathering formal feedback from a handful of underwriters who are interested in the software solution, allowing them to manage their own investors, run their own deals, and use our platform as pure play software. We most certainly will not have solved everything from the get go with this first pass but knowing where the gaps are will be more than enough as we figure out priorities ahead of Q4. All of this is in preparation for a full court press in going out to market officially in Q1 with our complete solution - the first ever vertical SaaS solution for private credit markets.

Ideate, gather feedback, develop, iterate, improve. It's all coming together this next quarter and it couldn't be happening at a better time, let's make it count in Q3 🙌
