Setting our sights abroad

As we get closer to the day when we have the multi-market software suite ready to launch, we've been putting in the work to ensure we find the right anchor client to go to market with first to help us get our legs underneath us. An anchor client like this should ideally meet certain criteria:

  • Be able to take advantage of a variety of use cases (e.g. syndication, surveillance, or more)

  • Deliver value to our core business (e.g. increasing investor AUM)

  • Drive meaningful revenue in exchange for the effort 

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been conducting interviews with underwriters, some of whom are existing clients, as well as exploring potential partnerships with established groups in different countries/regions who can use our software the way we intended it to - in order to create and manage their own market altogether.

The feedback has been resoundingly clear as there is a tremendous opportunity to expand our reach overseas and allow potential partners to start from scratch and effectively recreate the market we’ve built here in their region while taking advantage of our existing software that encompasses all the learnings and experiences we’ve accumulated over these past few years. They’d be able to hit the ground running with their own market, using our suite of software solutions across structuring, syndication, surveillance, and beyond, while still helping our bottom line with both revenue and AUM.

Our core business here in the US is still our core business and over the next few quarters, nothing should shift our focus away from reaching for the [ ] target. Still, we need to prepare for what’s next and partnerships like these are a sure fire way to jumpstart our future.
